Das "Drenkelingenhuisje" auf der Watteninsel Terschelling

Das "Drenkelingenhuisje" ist ein Refugium aus der Vergangenheit und liegt im abgelegenen, unbewohnten Teil von der Watteninsel Terschelling. Schiffbrüchige und von der Flut betroffene Menschen fanden an diesem einsamen Strand Zuflucht und konnten hier auf Hilfe oder niedrigen Wasserstand warten.

The "Drenkelingenhuisje" is a refuge from the past, located in the remote, uninhabited part of the Wadden island of Terschelling. Shipwrecked people and those affected by floods found refuge on this secluded beach, where they could wait for help or for low water levels.
